The design of Univet 5.0 was inspired by a protective goggle from the Univet portfolio, the 6X3, which is known for its superior comfort, excellent wearability, and panoramic lens. The 6X3's unique features, including its indirect ventilation system and compatibility with half masks, were incorporated into the design of Univet 5.0, creating a pair of smart glasses that are not only technologically advanced but also comfortable and safe to wear.
The realization of Univet 5.0 was made possible by the use of cutting-edge materials and construction techniques. The glasses are made with Grilamid TR90 LXS, a material known for its chemical resistance, excellent twist modulus, and low specific weight. This material guarantees the product's reliability and resistance, even with reduced sections. The design also takes into account the weight balance, with part of the electronics and the viewing module placed on one side of the product. The adjustable nose allows for a balanced distribution of weight on the head, ensuring comfort and portability.
Univet 5.0 is not just a pair of safety glasses; it is a wearable technological device that can add information to what the human eye can see. The glasses can drive information in the user's visual field more efficiently than other devices, such as smartphones and tablets. The glasses are equipped with a rechargeable Li-Ion Small Battery and can be fitted with additional optional items such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, ambient light sensor, vibration motor, camera, touch panel, status LED, and additional sensors.
